Local Market Update September 2015

The spring market is in full swing and the team at Ray White Cheltenham have been very busy in all departments in the month of September. The fine weather and the traditional start of the busy months in real estate definitely haven’t disappointed this year.

The sales team have listed well and have a number of properties on the market that are creating good buyer interest and plenty of inspections on open home days. Tim had an outstanding result with the auction at Janine Ave during the month, Malcolm had a similar result with his Dingley auction, Kevin listed well and has some good campaigns underway and Jodie ensured her vendors of Highett were blown away with the result and eventual sale price. The stand out for the month was Sam, a great month of listings and sales was combined with plenty of work for the future by Sam and the result he achieved at Parkdale was
enjoyed by both buyers and vendors. We still need more stock in this very tight and competitive marketplace with some record prices being achieved by the team this month.

The rental department have also been setting records with plenty of open homes, applications being processed and a record number of lettings for the month. The rental department worked through 50 applications to let 19 properties, a record for the office. As I have stated before the high standards we have ensure not every application is accepted, only the highest quality tenants are accepted to rent one of our properties. This ensures we are looking after our landlords best interests with their investment properties.

Overall the month was very busy and very productive for all departments. The Spring market continues with much activity this month ahead and we look forward to being able to assist many landlord, tenants, vendors and buyers achieve their dreams this month.
