Coming from a family with two generations in Real Estate, Jake has a natural
passion for our industry that perfectly stems with his love of architecture and design,
which teamed with his warm personality and natural charisma, allows him to forge
strong connections with his clients and partners within the Real Estate Sector.
Jake also has had a past career of 4 years within Property Law. During his time
within the legal industry, Jake had an intense interest in social issues and through
his work, he became the Director of a Not-For-Profit, The Aaron Foundation. Jake
specialised in assisting young people experiencing homelessness into employment
Jake had many incredible students, one such was Heath Davis, who was used by
the MP Martin Foley as an example of what the Federal Government’s $1 Billion
project to combat youth homelessness can achieve.
Jake’s hard work won him the spot as a finalist in the Australian of The Year Awards
in 2018, where he connected with our federal government at Parliament House
during the awards, discussing the various outreach programs he provided.
So Jake certainly has a strong ethical foundation and a real sense of community,
which follows him in each deal with his clients.
Jake understands our changing housing market. During his time as Director of The
Aaron Foundation, he had the opportunity to meet with members of the senate
during the inquiry into the Housing & Social Services Legislation (Housing
Affordability Bill), speaking on the challenges faced by young people in our
increasingly difficult market. In addition, he also understands the recent changes to
our mortgage lending market, having attended the hearings of our recent Royal
Commission and spoken with associates in the finance sector, who have had to
change their practices as a result of the commission’s report. Which combined with
Jake’s study in Finance at Melbourne University, provides him a strong ability to
provide specialist knowledge and experience to his clients.
Outside the office, Jake enjoys sailing with friends at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club,
surfing on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and as an active member of Woolamai
Surf Rescue, he thoroughly enjoys patrolling and completing ocean rescues.
